At the event, local experts tell of the best practices for catching trout in the North Georgia mountains, gear is for sale, and there is plenty of food just waiting to find its way into your belly.

Local outfitters and guides help you learn why trout fishing — especially fly-fishing — is a growing sport among men and women in the Southern Appalachian Mountains of Georgia, where rainbow, brown and brook trout thrive in the region’s cold-water streams and rivers.

Trout Fest Food Court features new and returning food vendors, and our Beer/Wine Garden will feature brews from Grumpy Old Men Brewing Company in Blue Ridge and wines from North Georgia mountain farms.
