25th Annual Blue Ridge Writers Conference

Friday, April 8 – Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association Art Center

The Blue Ridge Writers Conference is a literary tradition and unique cultural asset enjoyed by many writers and aspiring writers each Spring as they gather in Blue Ridge to learn more about their special craft.

The Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association is in its 40th year as a non-profit arts council for the Appalachian region and North Georgia mountains area including east Tennessee and western North Carolina.

During the last 40 years, our mission has been to provide opportunities in the realm of art for personal growth of the individual and the economic growth of our community. Over the years, our festivals have become a strong contributor to the tourism revenue for our county and the City of Blue Ridge. The funds raised by these festivals are pivotal to the fiscal viability of the Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association and Art Center and provide needed tax dollars to our local government agencies and local businesses. Our programs to educate and support an artist community have borne fruit with the exciting growth of the Southern Appalachian Artist Guild (SAAG) and the Blue Ridge Mountain Photographers (BRMP).

The Blue Ridge Mountains Arts Association and Art Center depends on our membership to keep us strong and our arts education programs growing. Our membership is a solid, growing team of inspired individuals, who are interested in the creative spirit of our artists and our art enthusiasts. If you are already a member, THANK YOU and we are grateful for your support. If you are not a member, we invite you to join this dynamic, creative group of individuals. Your membership will enable us to continue our art mission and will continue the vision of our Art Town. Our patrons, friends, and sponsors support our mission and help provide the “paint” to complete our “canvas”.

We are located in the Historic Fannin County Courthouse at 420 West Main Street, Blue Ridge, GA 30513.
